The boys found a super cool moth....
Pretty non descript walking around and perfect colors for walking on tree trunks and decks that need painting.....
Until it is threatened......

VERY COOL! I hope this beauty doesn't lay any nasty caterpillars in the garden!
I *think* that might be the very beautiful Sphinx moth that lays tomato hornworms. We saved a hornworm and let it metamorph itself and that moth looked very similar. You can find out about your creatures at www.whatsthatbug.com. It's our favorite bug site. :)
