My Little Pirates, August is sick, but forced himself to go - How could one miss halloween, poor guy. I told him that I would have gone sick as a kid too. As we were about to drive down the driveway he said "do you have your pencil mummy?" He did want his mustache afterall! They had such a blast too. We actually got home made candied apples at one house (we get them every year), must be the last place on the planet, and we ate them too...and we got "cars" toothbrushes at another!! Cumberland, an old mining town, with Victorian houses, is decorated to the 9s and many people are dressed up to give out candy. Such spirit! The kids had the big candy sort and trade this morning - I got the coffee crisps!
